“French fries are an internationally loved snack, perfect as a side for fast food or a popular addition to party menus. Traditional French fries are usually made by slicing potatoes and frying them. Today, however, we’re introducing Fresh Potato French Fries, made by mashing potatoes, mixing them with flour and seasonings, and frying them to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We use Fancy Carp Corn Starch, which helps keep the fries crisp for longer. This recipe is gluten-free, so it’s suitable for those with wheat allergies. Let’s get cooking!”

Raw material

  • Fancy Carp Corn Starch - 100 grams
  • Potatoes - 2 kilograms
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Vegetable oil
  • Side dips - various sauces as preferred

How to cook

1

Peel the potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and cut them into small pieces. Boil the potatoes with a little salt until cooked and tender, about 30 minutes.

2

Mash the potatoes until smooth, then add the corn starch. Season with a little salt, add water, and knead until the mixture is smooth and forms a dough that doesn’t stick to your hands.

3

Place the dough in a tray or rectangular mold, then cut into sticks of the desired size. Fry on low-medium heat for 3-4 minutes to set the shape. Remove and let drain.

4

For the second round, fry on high heat for 30-40 seconds to achieve a crispy, golden finish.

5

Remove and drain excess oil. Serve with your choice of sauce or dip.
